Gajar ka Halwa Recipe:

When carrots are in the market, it is undoubtedly the time to welcome winter by preparing hot and delicious gajar ka halwa. So, we have brought the authentic gajar ka halwa recipe for you that you should not miss trying at your home.

Ingredients:

  • Raisins or Kishmish – 25 grams
  • Kaju (chopped) – 25 grams
  • Carrots (grated) – 1 Kg
  • Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk – 1 litre
  • Nestlé Everyday Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Nestlé MILKMAID – ½ tin

Recipe:

Step 1: Take a pan and pour Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk in it. Add the carrots, mix everything well and bring it to a boil. Ensure it is cooked on a low flame, or it might burn. Also, it needs to be stirred occasionally till the milk is dried up.

Step 2: Put the required quantity of Nestlé MILKMAID and cook it on a low flame. Keep stirring it till it dries.

Step 3: Pour in Nestlé Everyday Ghee and cook it for ten more minutes. Lastly, add raisins and cashew nuts to the halwa. Serve and relish it hot.

Lauki Halwa Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Kishmish or Raisins – 1 tbsp
  • Kaju or cashew nuts – 5 (chopped)
  • Badam or Almonds – 5 (chopped)
  • Green food colour (optional) – ¼ tsp
  • Doodhi or Lauki (finely grated) – 4 cups
  • Cardamom or Elaichi Powder – 1 tsp
  • Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk – 150 ml or 1 cup
  • Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Nestlé MILKMAID – ½ tin

Recipe:

Step 1: Take a pan and put Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee in it. After that add almonds and raisins in it. Stir and fry them till they are golden brown. Now start adding the grated lauki to the pan. Saute the grated lauki for a few more minutes.

Step 2: Pour Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk and cook till the lauki becomes soft. Now add the green colour and mix it well.

Step 3: Pour Nestlé MILKMAID and keep stirring. Still, till the consistency becomes thick, sprinkle elaichi powder and mix it well.

Step 4: Now, remove the pan from the flame and relish it hot.
