1/2 tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID

1 tbsp Corn Flour

1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder

8 slices Bread

175 gms Sugar

1 cup Water

1 cup Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk

1 tbsp Mixed Dried Fruits

1 tbsp Nestlé Everyday Ghee

Recipe

  1. Prepare a cornflour slurry by adding 2-3 spoons of milk to the cornflour. Rest aside.
  2. Take the rest of the milk and mix Nestlé MILKMAID into it. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Now slowly add the cornflour paste while stirring continuously to obtain a thick mixture. Add elaichi powder.
  4. Prepare a sugar syrup, strain and keep it aside.
  5. Now cut the bread into two halves and deep fry in ghee till it is golden brown. Transfer the fried bread into the sugar syrup and let it rest for a few seconds while ensuring that the bread slices remain crisp.
  6. Serve the slices and decorate each with 1 tsp of Nestlé MILKMAID and nuts.

2. Apple Pie

This nutritional apple pie recipe does not disappoint when you have to prepare something healthy in a few minutes.

Ingredients

For Pie Crust

½ tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID

¼ cup (approx) Cold Water

100 gms Butter

½ tsp Salt

2 ½ cup (250 gms) Maida (All-purpose flour)

For the filling

1 tsp Cinnamon Powder

2 tbsp Butter

2 tsp Brown sugar

1 tbsp Lime juice

4 cups Apples, peeled and sliced

Recipe

Making PIE CRUST

  1. Preheat the oven to 180⁰ C.
  2. Add maida and salt to a bowl. Mix some butter into the flour and rub with fingertips until the mixture crumbles. Add cold water little by little and prepare a dough. Wrap in a cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. After this, take it out and place it on a floured surface, roll it out and cut into a 2” circle wider than the tray dish.
  4. Press it into a greased and flour-dusted pan, covering the sides. Trim the extras over the edges.
  5. Prick with a fork at the bottom and on the sides. Bake for 15-20 minutes till the crust is lightly brown.

HOW TO MAKE THE FILLING

  1. Arrange apple slices in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon, lime juice and brown sugar. Mix 1 tbsp maida.
  2. Spread it over the crust and pour NESTLÉ MILKMAID. Dot with half of the butter.
  3. Place the remaining dough on a ¼ thick sheet and cut it into strips. Set them like an interwoven lattice and brush with some butter and bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Slice and serve once cool.

3. Malai Laddoo

Ingredients

½ tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID

4-6 drops Kewra Essence

1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder

8-10 drops Yellow Food Colour

500 gms Paneer

Recipe

  1. Mash paneer smooth and creamy.
  2. Heat up paneer and Nestlé MILKMAID on a slow flame in a kadhai and stir constantly.
  3. Cook till the mixture starts leaving the sides. Add colour and essence.
  4. Prepare laddoos once cool and sprinkle elaichi powder on each laddoo before serving.
